Weill Cornell's Department of Anesthesiology is comprised of over 60 highly skilled attending anesthesiologists dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to all of our patients. While every member of our faculty has received extensive training in all areas of anesthesiology, many of our staff members have additional expertise and training in providing anesthesia for specific types of surgery, such as cardiac, thoracic, vascular, neurological, obstetric, and pediatric surgery.

The Department of Anesthesiology hosts Grand Rounds every Monday morning, with guest speakers representing a broad spectrum of the field.
