Brian Alexander presented his work "The effects of AAV P11 mediated knockdown and replacement in the nucleus accumbens on depressive behaviors of WT and P11 KO mice" at the Society for Neuroscience Meeting in Washington DC.

Anup Pamnani has been chosen as a finalist in the C. Ronald Stephen Resident Essay Contest. He wrote "The Reluctant Anesthesiologist: Dr. Joseph Artusio and the early days of the physician anesthetist." He will travel to Augusta, GA in April to present his work. Adam Evans (left) and Peter Fleischut (right) won the 2008 Quality Symposium Award at a meeting sponsored by New York Presbyterian and The Methodist Hospital Healthcare Systems for their poster entitled "Engaging Housestaff in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at an Academic Medical Institution."
