The Department of Anesthesiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center is comprised of over 50 highly skilled attending anesthesiologists dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to all of our patients. Every member of our faculty has received extensive training in all areas of anesthesiology. Moreover, many of our staff members have additional expertise and training in providing anesthesia for specific types of surgery, such as cardiac, thoracic, vascular, neurological, obstetric (labor and delivery), critical care, and pediatric surgery.

The Department also features a Pain Medicine Center for the treatment of patients wiht chronic pain and pain associated with cancer. [read more]
